I am a myologist and I know how to recover a child with hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy. In practice, I have already recovered several childrensuffering from this disease, as I have experienced a comedown fromthe opinion of neurologists. One after another they repeat the opinion expressed by the World Health Organization: this is a neurological disease and is not subject to recovery. In the medical academy I was taught the same things, however, an interesting idea followed me and it did not want to leave: why making movements with fixation, I could recover children with hemiplegia and the other doctors massaging the patients without any fixation are not able to recover a child.
If we effect the same way on pyramidal tracts of the brain, why I have managed to recover a child, but the other health professionals fail to recover a child with hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy? To answer this question, I have decided to use the electron microscope in order to find evidence that the brain does not suffer, it’s all about muscles.
Starting from the 19th century the neurologists have considered that in the normal condition the voluntary movements of each child is regulated by pyramidal movement system, which starts with cortical cells of central gyri of the anterior area of the brain. Its functioning is closely connected with other systems of the body and provides monosynaptic and multisynaptic conducting of impulses.
Nevertheless, within the last ten years due to discoveries made by the Nobel Prize Winners in the area of biology, the opinion turned out to be mistaken, as it was clear that the extrapyramidal pathways effect more on the impulses transmission than the pyramidal. It appears that neither pyramidal nor extrapyramidal pathways do not influence over the condition when the muscles do not move. Let use the electron microscope in order to have a look at the condition of muscle fiber in case of hemiplegia, severe spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy, which is 3 years old:
Dark points – that has fallen from the center of the nuclear cells.
In the normal condition, muscle fibers closely adjoin each other.
In the normal condition, the nuclei are located in the center of muscle fiber.
In case of mild hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy it may be seen that a part of muscle fibers have the nuclei in the center of the muscle fiber. Muscle fibers are placed close to each other, however, there may be seen light spots – this is a edema between the fibers. Some part of muscle fiber nuclei are grouped, leaving unnucleated muscles. These unnucleated zones in the muscle are immovable.
If to remove odema from the muscle cells then there is recovered the movement of muscles.

Let us analyze the notion of hemiplegia, from the perspective of neurologists, based on the positions of the 19th century, but with my comments, based on the 21st-century skills and knowledge.
Neurologists: hemiplegia is neurologic syndrome, in case of which there is observed a total absence of voluntary movements of the upper and lower limbs on one side of the body.
My opinion: hemiplegia is a disease, related to edema in the muscle cells, slipping from the nuclear from the center of a cell and withdrawal of mitochondria that follow the nuclear, which produce the energy for stretching the muscles.
Clinical presentation of hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy:
In case of clinical detection of central paresis, there is most commonly observed the plegia of the upper limb. Muscular tone is selectively increased in flexors and adductor muscles of legs. Paretic limbs are in Wernicke Mann position:
Neurology: on the side of paresis there are reinforced tendinous and periosteal reflexes. There are determined pathologic pyramidal signs.
My opinion: tendinous and periosteal reflexes are reinforced by means of muscles sensation disorders because of the edema. Pyramidal signs turned out to be extrapyramidal according to the new amendments introduced by the neurologists themselves. In other words, one and the same symptom from the standpoint of neurologists may be treated differently. It has been proved that pyramidal pathways do not influence over the fact that the limbs do not move or move in a peculiar way.
Neurologists: there are often present synkinesis which are manifested during any bodily tension in raising the affected arms upward and in sweeping movements when walking.
My opinion: the arm raised upward is a forced attitude of a child. If the child puts his/her hands down, there appears a neck muscles pain, as well as in collar zone and in muscles of the shoulder.
Neurology: often the lower limb movements recover almost in full, however, the upper limb palsy remains.
My opinion: the upper and lower limbs movements completely recover in the course of emendic procedures.
Neurology: gradually the palsied limbs begin to stunt, there takes place the formation of refractory pathologic positioning of the body and limbs: shoulder adduction, forearm flexion, and pronation, bending and ulnar hand abnormality, thumb adduction, scoliosis of a back bone, pelvis defect, equi varus or valgus deformation of the foot with shortening of Achilles tendon.
My opinion: muscle cells of the neck muscles, collar zone, back, and shoulders swell with each passing month more and more. That is why the muscles can stretch less and less. After removing edema from the muscle cells there occurs the alignment of all parts of the body. Upper and lower limbs become of the same length.
Reasons for the appearance of hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy
I will describe the reasons by presenting the point of view expressed by neurologists, however, I will comment it, for you to understand that I do not share their viewpoint.
From the standpoint of neurologists: hemiplegia is not inherited.
My opinion: swelling in muscle fibers is inherited. That is why children are similar to their parents. If the swelling of the muscle fibers was not inherited, all of us would be the same. Over the 6th week of zygote development, there may be seen the swelling between the muscle fibers if to explore it with the help of electron microscope.
It just happened so, that the sperm cell brought the information about maximum swelling in the muscle cell and the ovum also contained information about the maximum swelling in one of the neck muscles side.
Ischemia and fetal hypoxia
From the standpoint of neurologists: in case of brain blood supply disturbance and oxygen deprivation there may take place the cerebral affection.
My opinion: the arguments presented by neurologists are unconfirmed. The thing is that the ultrasound imaging and magnetic resonance tomography study data do not record the neuron death. Such examinations of muscle fibers carried out with the help of electron microscope show the presence of swelling in muscle cells, movement of nuclear cells because the edema pushes them out.
Infectious affection of the cerebrum and musculoskeletal system
From the standpoint of neurologists: in case of a newborn childs contamination there may develop such major illnesses as meningitis , encephalitis, and others, because of which there may be observed some complications as the baby is too little and weak to struggle against such affection.
My opinion: in case of a newborn childs contamination, not all the children suffer from hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy as long as the swelling in muscles increases only in children who have already suffered from heavy swelling in the muscles.
To such agents refer alcohol, smoking, potent medical drugs intake etc. It may promote the development of pathology.
Neurologists explain that the toxic agent causes the neurons death.
My opinion:embryo is inside the uterus. Uterine walls fulfill the function of a filter for toxic materials. Professor S.V.Saveliev, brain laboratory chief at Russian Academy of Sciences, studied the influence of alcohol over the development of embryo. Sergei Vladimirovich found that uterus decreases concentration of alcohol to physiological standard even in women suffering from alcohol addiction.
Neurologists consider that cerebral affection may appear in case of radioactive and X-ray irradiation of pregnant woman as well as due to electromagnetic treatment.
My opinion: in case of radioactive irradiation a pregnant woman will die at the same time with her unborn child. The examination of women who survived after the nuclear explosion in Hiroshima did not detect any data of the brain cell necrosis . Regarding X-ray irradiation, I must say that the obstetricians send the pregnant women to be irradiated together with the unborn child in the course of ultrasound imaging and magnetic resonance tomography.
Hemiplegia may be right-sided, left-sided and bilateral.
Depending on the place of affection of the kinetic tract, hemiplegia is divided into central, spastic and peripheral.
The peculiarities of spastic hemiplegia from the standpoint of neurologists, which was established based on the data of the 19th century:
The neurologists consider the increase of tendon reflex in the affected upper and lower limbs because of absence of dominant influence affected by pyramidal pathway on conditioned reflex arcs.
My opinion: tendon reflexes are increased because of the swelling influence over nerve receptors in muscles. Regarding the pyramidal pathways, the neurologists recognize, that as for the last data they were mistaken, as long as the extrapyramidal pathways go, are infused with the pyramidal, and it is impossible to determine their influence over the operating muscles. Data that were received in the course of exploration by means of electron microscope, show the presence of edema in muscles, making them poorly stretchable. Example: an ordinary balloon (deflated) stretches perfectly well. If to pour milk inside, it will become poorly stretchable:
The neurologists consider: one of the reasons for the development of hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy is the increase of muscular tonus.
My opinion: increased muscular tonus – is a normal condition of fetus, to be in mother’s womb in fetal position. Muscular hypertension completely disappears when there is reached six-month period. The swelling in the muscle fiber shows the same clinical presentation, as a muscular hypertension. The neurologists confuse the notions because of lack of knowledge about the muscle swelling in muscle cells.
Hemiplegia – is the most severe form of infantile cerebral palsy.
Pathogenesis of spastic hemiplegia. In case of hemiplegia, spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy there are observed the changes of oculomotor, facial, sublingual muscles. Their sensation is not usually affected, however, there are cases of two-point discrimination disorders.
Almost 50% of children suffering from the disease have hyperkinetic disorders. They often suffer from convulsionary attacks – absences, grand mal seizures which are rarely focal. About40% of children with hemiplegia suffer from mental changes, which make the process of education even more difficult even in case of normal intelligence, as long as there are observed the image perception disorders, the process of reading and writing becomes more difficult. There are recorded epileptic attacks due to which there takes place loop of intelligence.
Treatment of spastic unilateral infantile cerebral palsy
Neurologists: pharmaceutical treatment includes the drugs for the improvement of nerve tissue trophism and transmission of nerve impulse, recovery of conduction tract and removal of spasticity. Here refer: neurotrophic drugs; neuroprotectors, vasoactive substances ; antioxidants; group B vitamins; cholinesterase inhibitors; neuromuscular blocking agents.
My opinion: I do not prescribe pharmaceutical treatment of hemiplegia. I saw the adverse effects of drugs intake.
Neurologists: mechanical methods of rehabilitation include: massage; kinesitherapy, and movement therapy. Their purpose includes the preventive measures against the formation of contractures, decubiti, muscle wasting and joining of secondary infections.
My opinion: pay attention to the fact that the purpose of the methods of hemiplegia treatment, prescribed by the neurologists are not the recovery of the muscles function but the prevention from the development of contractures which are formed regardless of this.
My methodology of emendic massage is able to recover the child with hemiplegia, both with right-side and left-side.
Neurologists prescribe the application of Standers – devices that allow the patients to take vertical position.
My opinion: until I remove the swelling from muscle cells the muscle will not move. It is possible to use standers in the treatment of hemiplegia however it is just a game.
Neurologists consider that physiotherapeutic procedures like muscle electrostimulation, magnetic interference, pneumatotherapy and laser treatment have beneficial effect.
My opinion: I did not see any little patient with hemiplegia who would benefit from rehabilitation physical treatment.
Neurologists prescribe alternative methods: acupuncture, manual therapy, medicinal herb treatment
My opinion: neurologists just must demonstrate their participation in hemiplegia treatment.
